Swiss chemical manufacturer Sika Corp. is expanding its U.S. operations with a move into California’s Inland Empire, signing a substantial long-term lease for a nearly 300,000-square-foot industrial facility in Fontana. The expansion comes as the regional industrial market works through elevated vacancy rates following a pandemic-era construction surge.

Sika, a global leader in specialty chemicals for the construction and automotive industries with over $11 billion in annual revenue, signed the more than seven-figure lease for the 294,400-square-foot property at 14090 Slover Ave., according to a report by the Business Journals. The facility, built in 2024 by Fullmer Construction on 11.5 acres, will serve as a strategic hub for the company’s U.S. operations, which are headquartered in Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
